I am a college graduate with a new fascination for nuclear science and I've been trying to teach myself about things like radiation mainly through YouTube videos. I ran across someone talking about this book on reddit and I thought I would check it out. It is deliciously simple to read and understand. It doesn't expect much of its reader and it's not condescending about it. The plain text and colorful diagrams help someone with my short attention span stay completely engaged. It's not boring and so easy to understand. You can tell that the author really knows their stuff and has a passion for the subject. 100% would recommend for someone with or with out experience in stem that wants to learn about the basics of radiation.
